Audio Drama
In 2017, I conceived of an audio drama podcast, and over the next few years I brought it to fruition. I wrote the script, directed and produced the series, and am one of the voice actors as well.The show is titled Shadows of a Dark Past, and it is a gothic horror drama, and a love-letter tribute to the 1966 classic Dark Shadows, from which it draws inspiration.While the second season is currently stuck in post-production hell, the entire first season is freely available to listen wherever you consume your podcasts!
Karaoke
While friends had tried to drag me to karaoke from college through my adult life, it was not until 2021 that I finally gave it a try. And instantly regretted never having attempted it before.Since then, I have been a regular at several different karaoke bars and rocked the mic to great applause and cheers. I tend to be a KJ favorite and I love getting a crowd on their feet!Enjoy some of my greatest karaoke performances!
About Me
I've always been a performer and entertainer, deliberately being silly for home movies as young as age 2, and was hamming it up in church plays shortly after. I began learning to play music at age 6, picking up both guitar and piano. Creative writing was a part of my life pretty much from the moment I learned how to write at all.By the time I graduated college, I was writing novel-length fiction (as well as short stories) and had a significant songwriting catalog as well. Thanks to involvement in local indie film production, I got interested in audio work, which heralded the conception of my signature audio drama, Shadows of a Dark Past.My "day job" is equally performance-based, as an escape room Game Master. And whenever I can, I rock the mic as a karaoke rock star.
